Our pilgrimage will take you to two of North Americas most unique and historic cities – Montreal and Quebec City, with visits in-between. Both cities are steeped in rich history and strong Catholic heritage. We are pleased to welcome you to these sacred shrines for peace and reflection. Because of their natural ambiance they are havens for relaxation, prayer, and meditation – you will find them as unique centers of tranquility and spirituality.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Depart home for your journey to Montreal. This afternoon meet your tour director for orientation and an introduction to the city before enjoying a welcome dinner at a downtown Montreal restaurant.

DAY 2

This morning enjoy an in-depth guided walking tour of Montreal. You will discover its eclectic neighborhoods, gorgeous architecture, underground city, and major points of historical and cultural significance. After a bit of free time exploring Old Montreal, we will head to St. Joseph’s Oratory for the afternoon. We will take a guided tour of the oratory and gardens, confessions will be heard, and mass will be celebrated followed by a buffet lunch.

DAY 3

This morning attend mass at the beautiful Notre-Dame Basilica. After mass we will enjoy a guided tour of the basilica. You will have an opportunity to view all of Montreal and the surrounding area from the 360 degree 45th floor observation deck. After taking in the surrounding area, we will have lunch at a famous bistro, all the while enjoying the view from the sky! Take the rest of the day and evening to explore Montreal and souvenir shop or pursue your own interests.

DAY 4

After breakfast this morning prepare to depart for Quebec City. En-route, we will visit St. Francis Xavier Mission, a shrine dedicated to the first canonized First Nations woman canonized in North America. After our visit we will continue on our journey to the Sanctuary of Saint Marguerite d’Youville, where we will have an extensive visit, tour, and mass. After the visit watch the world go by and enjoy the view of the Quebec countryside while we continue to Quebec City. Upon arrival at the hotel have a brief orientation before enjoying the evening at your leisure.

DAY 5

Experience four centuries of history while having a silent breakfast, guided tour, and holistic activity at monastery in Old Quebec, which is a heritage haven of culture and wellness. After touring the beautiful monastery enjoy an in-depth walking tour of Upper and Lower Quebec City. After some personal exploration this afternoon, attend mass at the oldest church north of Mexico, followed by a tour of the basilica and the only Holy Door in North America. Enjoy dinner this evening at a restaurant in Old Quebec.

DAY 6

After breakfast we will depart for a tour of the beautiful Beaupre Coast along the St. Lawrence River. We will visit the world-famous Saint-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine, which has been welcoming people from all walks of life for 350 years. While being on the Sainte-Anne de Beaupre Site, we may also participate in the adoration, the blessings, the rosary, and the confessions, the hour of meditation and candlelight procession. We will also visit the museum of Albert Giles, whose metalwork on silver and copper adorns churches across North America. This evening we will enjoy a meal at a traditional sugar shack.

DAY 7

Enjoy one last phenomenal breakfast before some last-minute souvenir shopping. Say au revoir to your tour director and Quebec City!
