Planning an educational tour with Uniropa is a smooth, collaborative process—designed to support teachers every step of the way. Here’s how to get started:
Start Early
To ensure the best travel dates, hotel availability, and pricing, we recommend beginning your planning process in early spring or as soon as school resumes in late summer or early fall. Early planning gives your group priority access to preferred dates and the most competitive rates.
Tip: Reach out as soon as you’re considering a trip—even if you’re just gathering information. We’re here to help you plan ahead with confidence.
Want to pull together a spur-of-the-moment trip?
No problem, call us today and let’s put everything in motion for you ASAP!
Obtain School & Board Approval
Once we provide you with a detailed proposal and associated planning materials, you will be well-equipped to present the program to school leadership and/or your school board.
We’re with you every step of the way—from the first conversation to final approvals.
Promote The Program
After receiving school approval, it’s time to generate excitement and share the opportunity with students and families! Here are some effective ways to promote your trip:
- Host a parent information meeting to review trip details (dates, costs, educational goals, Uniropa’s experience, etc.)
- Display posters and flyers around the school
- Share a notice in the school newsletter or digital bulletin
- Make announcements over the school PA system or morning news
- Visit classes—especially language, history, and social studies—to speak directly with students

Enlist Help & Support
Running a trip should be exciting, not overwhelming. Enlist help from fellow teachers, school staff, or parent volunteers. Assign roles—like managing paperwork, helping with fundraising, or coordinating meetings—so you can focus on leading the educational side of the experience.
Remember: Excitement is contagious. Your enthusiasm sets the tone for your students.
